Thomas Boets has been creating spectacular production designs incorporating lighting, set and video for Belgium’s diverse, highest profile and hugely successful gay techno party La Demence for several years, and has known the phenomenon’s mastermind Thierry Coppens for over 20.

Robe moving lights were chosen to light the enormous stage and spectacular set that was the ‘central event’ for the 2015 Vendimia grape harvest festival at the Frank Romero Day Greek Theatre in Mendoza, the heart – and soul - of Argentina’s wine producing region.

The 2013 Music Industry Awards (MIAs) show was staged in Brussels by Flemish national TV channel VRT (Vlaamse Radio en Televisieomroeporganisatie ) in February to honour the best of the lively Belgian music scene.

A section of Prague’s beautiful hilltop Letná Park area was transformed into an exciting and fun Olympic Park environment for the duration of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, complete with a lighting installation in key areas by Prague based technical production company AV Media, which included over 100 Robe moving lights.

Around 250 Robe moving light fixtures were deployed site wide for the amazing 2013 Tomorrowland EDM festival, staged in the normally sleepy town of Boom, Belgium, which saw 180,000 EDM fans entertained at the fabulous De Schorre National Park site for three days, tuning in and grooving out to the very best dance music on the planet!

Robe lighting supplied over 350 fixtures that were used to light the 2013 Total Production International (TPi) Awards, staged in the Ballroom of the Novotel, West London last week, which was attended by over 1000 leading industry professionals.

Robe and leading UK lighting and visuals rental company RML supplied ROBIN 100 LEDBeams and ROBIN 600 LEDWash moving light fixtures and CityFlex LED units to the ‘Search For A Twitter Star Live’ event, staged at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue – in the heart of London’s West End.

Nearly 300 Robe lighting LED fixtures were utilised in a ground breaking lighting design by Andy Hurst for the 2012 Total Production International (TPi) Awards.

Robe Lighting had a busy and successful LDI 2011 exhibition in Orlando, Florida, USA, where it showcased its latest products including, for the first time in the USA, the newly launched MMX Spot - the first of Robe's next generation of 1200 series moving lights.
